About Me

Hey there, I'm really glad you've decided to drop by my little corner of the internet. This is where I get to share my journey as a COTApreneur, drawing from my experience as a certified occupational therapy practitioner and so much more. I'm a woman with many talents – a proud mom of two wonderful kids with a loving husband.

My mission is to inspire others to chase after the life they want while embracing their passion and earning a living. All of this is rooted in the amazing sense of purpose that God's love has blessed me with.

My coaching service is based on three components. Firstly, I help assist those seeking meaning and direction in their life. Whether you aspire to pursue a professional career in occupational therapy or embark on an entrepreneurial journey, the initial crucial step is to have a clear vision. It's about aligning your aspirations with God's will and preferences for your life, that's where purpose resides. Purpose is not picked its discovered.

Secondly, I help aspiring occupational therapy assistant students, pass their National Board of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam with my STUDY WITH A COTA COURSE.

Lastly, I help fellow faith-based "Burnt Out" rehabilitation professionals transition out of rehab, uncover their unique purpose, and capitalize on their expertise for profit. I guide them through a transformational process so they can offer transformational coaching services in the online space to their clients. This isn't just about generating passive income, though that's part of it. It's also about opening doors to countless opportunities, living in Godly purpose, and creating a legacy of wealth and positivity.

My belief in Matthew 6:33 drives me to put God first in everything I do in order to build a community of kingdom entrepreneurs who are grounded in their faith and centered on God's will.

My reputation extends across a range of roles – an author, a coach, a YouTuber, and a course creator. I'm also working hard to become an instructional designer and expand my horizons even further.

MY STORY

I live in New Jersey with my family. I love to dance, watch kung-fu flicks, and laugh until I cry. I want to take you down memory lane and share my journey and what got me to this point in my life. I promise this will be short and sweet.

WHERE IT STARTED…

I was born in South America, Guyana, and moved to America in 1994 in the middle of a winter storm at the age of 6 with my three brothers and my folks. My father worked two jobs sometime three in order to take care of us.

A HEARTBREAKING MOMENT…

But, life took a turn when my mother was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Shortly after my second to oldest brother was killed in a car accident in 2000 at the age of 19; he was a sophomore in college. When things couldn’t get any worse, it did. My youngest older brother was jailed then deported back to Guyana due to possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute as I was told, strike 3. The eldest of my three brothers moved out and I was left to keep the peace in my household at a tender age. Regardless, of the misfortune, I always prayed; but life knows how to challenge your faith. I dabbled with marijuana and circulated in a crowd that I knew was outside of my character in my teenage to young adult years. I did a good job of keeping face, controlling my emotions, and showing up for church after a night of partying and drinking, but I was screaming inside. I had my heart broken, experienced a couple of bumps and bruises, dropped in and out of the church, and endured physical pain, until one day I had enough.

TIME FOR A CHANGE…

I knew I needed to change, but it did not happen right away. It took time, it took energy, and patience. I felt like such a hypocrite during my walk with Christ and saw so many others just like me. I realized that not only claimed Christians were living a double life, but so many other religious and non-religious individuals were screaming inside too. This is what I called the “Great Secret”. The secret that cripples so many from living their true authentic self. Christianity has been diluted over the years in my opinion and so many do not know the true message of Jesus resulting in confusion and mistrust of the faith.

AND SO, MY SPIRITUAL JOURNEY BECAME OFFICIAL...

I accepted my mistakes, canceled my excuses, forgave my past, recognized my bad habits, and envisioned my future self. Through repeated failures, fasting & prayer, life experience, and a changed mindset you wouldn’t believe how things started to change and continue to change. I no longer call myself a Christian. I am simply a kingdom ambassador for Christ living my truth, and expressing my fears, wins, and goals in hopes to inspire someone else to do the same. I made it official and gained my certification as a spiritual life coach.

MY PROFESSIONAL LIFE CHANGED TOO...

In 2012, I proudly earned my license as a certified occupational therapy assistant, and life was on a steady course. But in April 2020, during the chaos of the Covid-19 pandemic, my world took an unexpected turn. On June 4, 2020, I found myself placed on disability due to a herniated disc and severe sciatica, a debilitating pain journey from my lower back down to my left foot. It left me bedridden for nearly two months, unable to perform even the simplest tasks comfortably. Eating required me to lie down, and standing for more than a minute was excruciating.

I TURNED MY PAIN INTO PURPOSE.

I had back surgery on July 16, 2020, my hopes were high. However, two weeks post-surgery, it became apparent that the procedure had failed, as all the symptoms returned. The surgeon suggested a second surgery, but I made the decision to trust God and put faith into action instead. Over the next 1.5 years, I embarked on my holistic rehabilitation journey, one that would transform me.

Determined, I made a remarkable recovery. This experience opened my eyes to how valuable and short life is, and the greater importance of living your best life. From that moment, I decided to not only support people physically through rehab but also spiritually.

As a mother and wife, I yearned for quality time with my family while providing financial stability. I did not want to return to the clinic. Thus, my online business was officially born. Today, I proudly stand as a digital entrepreneur and transformation coach. My personal liberation began within me, and it's my calling to share my journey and inspire others to embrace their own purpose and path to success.
